In Fortnite (PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS) there has been a new blockbuster title image each week, featuring a hint for a secret star for the Battle Pass. But where is the secret star in week 8 of Fortnite?
The image from week 8: The 8th title image that you can unlock in Fortnite has been known for a while. It shows the Visitor, the mysterious alien who already emerged from a capsule in the meteor at Dusty Divot in week 7.
In week 7, a star was still visible in the image, but that is not the case for the image from week 8.
Story instead of secret stars?
The 8th bonus image: Despite intensive searching, no one has found a secret star in the 8th image so far. Instead, we see the Visitor working on the rocket at the hideout of Snobby Shores.
Is there really no star anymore? Since no one can discover a star anymore and the blockbuster challenge is officially over after 7 images and 7 secret stars, the theory circulates that there is no 8th star at all.
Rather, according to a popular fan theory, any further bonus loading screens are likely to provide more hints about the Fortnite story and the theme of the upcoming season 5.
What could happen next with Fortnite: Season 4 and 5
The story of Fortnite: Those who have studied the previous map changes and bonus screens should now know that:
- There are superheroes and villains, but they are probably just movie actors shooting a superhero film
- In fact, a meteor has hit Dusty Divot
- Hop rocks have appeared, allowing gravity to be temporarily altered
- A bunker has appeared in the forest
- The hop rocks have been brought to a rocket base at Snobby Shores
- A countdown has appeared at the rocket, which is expected to end on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
Whatever happens in Fortnite, we should know more on Saturday. And then there might be more screens or even challenges to wrap up season 4 and kick off season 5.
