What’s happening in Fortnite? On December 5th Season 1 in Chapter 3 of Fortnite started. Chapter 2 ended with the whole map being flipped over and players flocking to the new map everywhere. But soon, the current season of Chapter 3 will end.

When does Season 1 in Chapter 3 end?
This is known: In the game, Fortnite indicates that Season 1 in Chapter 3 runs until March 19. March 19 is a Saturday.
However, there is also a chance that Season 1 may end on March 22. That would be a Tuesday. Until recently, this date was still on the Fortnite website.

When does Season 2 in Chapter 3 start?
This is how it has been so far: Typically, a new season starts immediately after the end of an old season. We therefore expect that Season 1 will end on March 19 and Season 2 of Chapter 3 will start on March 20, 2022. That would then be a Sunday.
New seasons in Fortnite usually start on a Tuesday. However, the first season in Chapter 3 started on a Sunday. It is quite possible that the next part will also begin on a Sunday.
Expect that there will be downtime between the seasons when the game will not be accessible. A multi-day downtime like with the Black Hole is not to be expected here, as it is not the start of a new chapter, but “just” a new season within a chapter.
What content does Season 2 Chapter 3 bring? Leaks
This is known so far: There is currently no official information about what content will be included in the new season. However, data miners already have an idea. This has been found: Data miner Hypex already showed a major find regarding Season 2 on Twitter back in December 2021. He found new characters that seem to be related to The Origin & The Sisters. These are the remaining characters still missing from the cast of “The Seven”.
Some members of the community also assume that there could be a larger conflict between The Seven and The Imagined Order. Both sides are currently fighting for control over the Fortnite island.
This possible conflict would also fit the tank vehicles that have already been found in the code. These are vehicles for two people (one driver and one passenger).
However, the function of these tanks is unclear. With the drill, it seems that you can work into the ground or through walls. But there are currently no details on this.
