What are these generators? These so-called V-Bucks generators are said to allow you to generate a lot of the in-game currency. Often, it involves a large amount of V-Bucks.
If you search for Fortnite V-Bucks generators on Google, many of these generators appear. They are often searched under terms like Fortnite 12.side, Fortnite 1.site, and Fortnite 1.page. These dubious offers for free V-Bucks have been circulating on the internet for a while.
What happens when you open a generator? When you open a Fortnite generator, a page appears where you are asked to enter your player name and password. This refers to your Epic login credentials, which you should never share.
An anti-ban system is even offered, which you can either turn on or off. This is falsely claimed to “help” players avoid being banned when using the generator.
You will not receive any V-Bucks!
Do these V-Bucks generators work? No, these generators do not work. It is also not allowed to use them. If you enter your Epic name and password, you will not receive any V-Bucks.
What happens next? If you have entered your data, your data will likely be stolen or your account will be used. It might also be that these sites receive money when someone uses the generator. You could even lose your Epic account with all purchases. We strongly advise against using such generators or hacks.
Why do sites like Fortnite 12.site attract so much interest?
Why are players noticing this? The V-Bucks generators seem to interest many players. Where does this interest come from?
- There is often advertising for them. When watching YouTube videos, sometimes an ad appears that presents these generators.
- The YouTube videos that show and present V-Bucks generators come across as very authentic. They show the individual steps that one must take to receive the V-Bucks. They even advertise that it “really works”. Players who know less about the topic could easily fall for it.
This is also a temptation for children who cannot afford V-Bucks. They might think this is the perfect solution. Then they wouldn’t have to use their parents’ credit card to buy a large amount of V-Bucks.
Why do players want free V-Bucks? Epic Games continuously releases cool skins that you can unlock with V-Bucks. Battle Passes are also popular. With them, you can earn V-Bucks and unlock cosmetic items. In the Battle Pass of Chapter 2, you can find 7 skins and earn 1,500 V-Bucks.
There are plenty of legitimate ways
How else can you collect V-Bucks? There are plenty of ways to earn V-Bucks outside of the shop. If you own the Save the World mode, you can earn some V-Bucks there through missions or daily rewards.
Now there are also V-Bucks gift cards that will gradually be made available for purchase in various countries like the USA, Germany, and Canada at select retailers. These can be given to friends or family to help them top up their V-Bucks.
