Two petitions from apparently angry women want to ban the game Fortnite. One is already threatened to fail because the woman herself has tried the game.
Currently, there are two petitions on “Change.org” where apparently angry women demand that Fortnite should be banned: One petition “Get rid of fortnite” has 775 signatures, the other “To get fortnite deleted off all consoles” has 103.
The argumentation is the same for both: The game has taken possession of the male partners through a kind of “brainwashing” and they no longer give attention to the women. Fortnite should be banned immediately to restore the previous status quo with a boyfriend who is supposed to be interested in his girlfriend, her stories, and the relationship.
This is not entirely serious, but there is already a resistance forming against the popular shooter that reaches into the relationships of women.
Among the petitions, some are saying: “The game is terrible. I hate it. It ruins my relationship.”

Fortnite brainwashes
The Washington Post deals with the problems of women. The petition initiator Chloe De Palma had originally written: “Fortnite takes over the lives of our partners and brainwashes them!”
Apparently, some women felt addressed by this call, who feel that their partner is neglecting them. Many are particularly upset that they have to wait so long for their boyfriend to respond to text messages.

Not just girlfriends of gamers are annoyed by Fortnite
One signer of the petition speaks of this game corrupting the males in her life. They no longer listen to the stories of their women, but focus on Fortnite.
This applies, by the way, not only to romantic partners:
- Some are also worried about school friends who neglect their studies due to Fortnite and are receiving bad grades.
- Male petition signers are also angry that their friends are now playing Fortnite and have no desire to go out with them.
- And mothers are worried about their children.
There seems to be a variety of reasons why Fortnite can be annoying.

Petition creator has switched sides
The most successful petition to ban Fortnite has now gathered 775 signatures, but it also has a problem: The creator of the petition has apparently switched sides.
She says: “Okay, initially I hated Fortnite, but then I started playing it myself and it is actually fun.” However, she admits that especially mothers probably rightly have a problem with the game because it restricts valuable time with family.
As a sign that a woman still has control over a man, it is, by the way, seen when he hides in the bush during a Fortnite match to respond:
