The new Fortnite Update 6.21 is coming today after the server maintenance. It removes three weapons from Fortnite Battle Royale. But a new item is also coming: Balloons. We will look at the patch notes in German and present the most important details.
Fortnite is currently in the middle of the Halloween event with the “Don’t Call Them Zombies” zombies, as balloons burst into the party.
When so many items and weapons are constantly added, some will also be removed from time to time. Patch 6.21 adjusts the balance and the game again.
The Highlights of the Patch Notes for Fortnite Battle Royale
The new item Balloons: The balloons come in epic (purple). There are 20 balloons in a stack.
You can use up to six balloons at the same time to defy gravity and take off. However, the balloons can be shot down.
Players can find the balloons on the ground, in chests, in supply drops, in supply Llamas, and in vending machines.
These three weapons are being removed:
- the semi-automatic sniper rifle
- the guided rocket
- the dual pistols
These items are now in the “Vault”; thus, they are no longer usable in the normal game, but still in the playground. Perhaps Epic will bring these weapons back revamped one day. That’s what happened with the “Guided Missile” before, which used to be the “flying middle finger of death”; it was rather transformed into a scout rocket in the new version.
Who knows if and how the guided rocket will return to Fortnite?
