To Fortnite: Battle Royale patch 9.30 has been released. It includes a new potion called “Saufpack”, bug fixes, and new goodies for the PvE mode Save the World. We take a look at the patch notes for the new Fortnite update on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Mobile.
This is included in the new update for patch 9.30: At the start of the maintenance for update 9.30, the patch notes are finally here. The highlight of the update is the new potion “Saufpack”, the first group healing item that you can also use effectively in battle.

New Item – Saufpack: It is a kind of six-pack of slurp juice. You throw it somewhere and it splashes greenish liquid. Anyone who gets hit by it instantly regains 20 health. If health is already full, shields are given instead. Attention, this also applies to your enemies!

You can also keep friends alive longer with the Saufpack who have just gone down.
What is being removed? Last week nothing got removed, but this time the developers have eliminated some items. Say goodbye to the following items:
The developers stated as a reason that there are currently too many explosive weapons. Already last week the Proximity Grenade Launcher was introduced.
Weapon Changes – Shotguns: The cooldown for switching shotguns now only applies when the player carries multiple shotguns. The type does not matter. This still prevents the double pump, but you will not be penalized if you only have one shotgun.
Additionally, the combat shotgun now deals 10 to 20% less damage at medium and long range.
New limited time game mode: The following modes are temporarily available in the game:
- Snipe Duos: Here, only sniper rifles are available.
- Trios: The popular trio mode is back.
- Pure Gold (Teams): Here, only legendary weapons are available.
Gameplay Changes and Bug Fixes: Among other things, the following adjustments have been made:
- You can no longer ride on the grenades from the proximity grenade launcher.
- Storm spinners and regular storms now deal damage at the same time.
- You can no longer build or place traps around a reboot bus.
- Proximity grenade launcher will no longer reload when aiming through the scope.
- The “Hold to Switch” function is now an option. By default, it is disabled.
- Pickaxes are now heard from further away.
Changes in Creative Mode: There is a new game mode called Object Hunt. There you can transform into ordinary objects.
Additionally, you get two new islands, the barren wasteland map and the island Caldera with a volcano.

New Storm Shield Defense Mission – Stamina: This mission consists of 30 increasingly difficult waves of enemies that target your fortress.
New Hero – Chrom Ramirez: A soldier who regains health quickly without ammunition. Available in the event shop starting June 20th, 2:00 AM our time.
New Hero – Steel Wool Jonesy: A soldier who inflicts increased damage with Forward Command.
