In Fortnite: Battle Royale the ice at Polar Peak has thawed further and uncovered more pieces of the castle.
How has the map changed? With Update 7.10, the map of Fortnite has been changed again. The iceberg at Polar Peaks has thawed further and revealed large parts of the castle under the ice. Until now, only the tower was accessible as it protruded from the ice. Later, various economic buildings were added in the castle courtyard. Now you can finally enter the icy castle from the ground.
The Ice King’s Throne Room
What does the inside of the castle look like? Inside the castle, you will find an epic throne room. It is filled with pillars and ends at a massive throne. It is surrounded by ice crystals and somewhat resembles the Iron Throne from the series Game of Thrones.
On the ground are reflective tiles.- Overall, the throne room looks very impressive. Behind the throne is a huge library. From there, it continues into the tower.
What can be found in the throne room? The hall is filled with treasures. Even on the Ice King’s throne, a chest can spawn. So if you want to gear up properly, it is a good idea to land there. But be careful, other players might have similar thoughts.
What is behind the throne room? The castle, along with the throne room, likely belongs to the dark Ice King. This dark figure is the Ultimo skin in Season 7 and represents a dark ruler who somewhat resembles Sauron or the Lich King Arthas from World of Warcraft.
Previously, there was the sword of the Ice King in front of the castle, but it was removed from the game for now. But who knows what Epic will bring in the story surrounding the Ice Lord. Additionally, more parts of the castle are still blocked by ice.
This will likely thaw gradually until the end of the season, revealing more mysteries.
