For Fortnite: Battle Royale, the new update 6.30 is here. It brings a lot of new features, including the removal of the deployable gliders, new mechanics in PvE, and a brand new game mode centered around the war between burgers and pizza in Fortnite.
With Update 6.30, Epic has once again released a big update. The new patch is packed with new features and some serious overhauls. This time it also applies to the PvE, which will receive a complete makeover with the patch.
In Battle Royale, however, the great food battle has erupted. It’s a fight: burgers vs. pizza.
The Features from Patch 6.3 for Fortnite Battle Royale
New Mode: Food Battle: As already suspected by MeinMMO, there is a new mode about the eternal fight between burgers and pizza. In this limited-time game mode, you will either fight in Team Burger or Team Pizza.
Your goal is to destroy the opponent’s fortress with the mascot. However, you have some time to prepare before the action starts. Until then, the two teams are separated by a barrier.
Additionally, there will be respawns. However, explosive weapons will not be available. You will find plenty of weapons and other materials in numerous red supply drops. Moreover, you will harvest twice the amount of resources.
New Item, Turrets: The new turret is now a permanent feature in the game. It is a legendary trap that you must mount. However, to use it, you must enter the turret and can then fire indefinitely until the turret overheats. The turret itself can be destroyed, and anyone who climbs it can use it. By the way, the turret’s base is indestructible.
A few more minor updates will also be added:
- The pickaxe now deals double damage, 20 instead of 10. You can now kill an opponent with 5 hits!
- Quad–crashers will now spawn at their designated locations.
- Gliders are no longer recyclable, unless you use rifts or launch pads.
- There is a new tournament called “Loot Pop-Up Cup.” In it, you gather resources 40 percent faster and have a cap of 500 materials each. Kills give you 50 health or shield back.
- You can injure yourself in the starting area and see damage numbers. However, you cannot fall below 1 health. Damage does not count for challenges.
- You can now crawl on the ground for 60 seconds instead of 50 before you die.
The Features from Patch 6.3 of Fortnite: Save the World
A lot has changed in the PvE mode Save the World. The entire user interface has been redesigned. Additionally, the skill trees have been replaced by a new upgrade page.
- All previously earned skill points have been removed, and you will receive upgrade points instead. The amount of upgrade points you receive depends on your current account level.
- The same goes for research, which you can use to upgrade your heroes.
- A new revolver called “The Last Word” has been added to the game. It deals particularly high headshot damage.
- There is a new heroine, the Flight Pioneer.
