The update today brings quite a lot of new things to Fortnite. There are some features that we have known for a while that Epic has been working on. From today, players with a PS4 Pro and a 4k TV will be able to see the game in 1440p instead of 1080p.

Highlights of Patch Notes 6.10 for Fortnite Battle Royale
Change to Disco Dominance: In the game mode, there are now fewer bandages and no common weapons (gray) anymore. Additionally, the “side dance floors” are supposed to move closer to the storm edge, and the maximum respawn distance decreases.
Change to Items:
- Currently, the Backpack is disabled, which is why the drop rate of the smaller backpack is increased from 3.05% to 4.89%
- The guided missile will no longer fly in the wrong direction
- And weapon equip animation will no longer be skipped if someone is simultaneously sprinting and aiming
New Vehicle: The Quad Ram is coming, it accommodates 2 players. The Quad Ram collects boost while driving, and this boost can then be ignited by pressing a button and ramming buildings. Additionally, players can be rammed and pushed away.
The Quad Ram can also take off and glide through the air when boosted over a cliff or a ram.
Controller Players Celebrate This Change
Many More Controller Settings: In the “Edit Controls” window, there are significantly more options, so you can now separate changes to combat controls from those to building controls. Furthermore, you can set the controller sensitivity for building mode in the options menu.

Online Tournaments for Everyone Coming to Fortnite
Tournaments are Coming: In the new Event tab, there is the tournament feature. Players should find a series of online tournaments here in which anyone can participate. Here players can earn points over several hours while participating in a tournament.
Players will compete in a match against other participants with similar points. Each new tournament starts with 0 points and players start from scratch.
As a reward, “golden awards” await. In the future, Epic Games is also promising “prizes.” They plan to expand the system.

Highlights of Patch Notes 6.10 for “Save the World”
New Power Level Restriction: When you are in a group, it depends on whether the group is set to “Public” or “Private.” In “Public,” the power level of the weakest member of your group counts. In “Private,” the level of your group leader counts. This change has been introduced here on MeinMMO.
The aim of the changes is to prevent weaker players from sneaking into missions and being carried by other, unfamiliar teammates.
All Plankerton missions have a minimum requirement.
New Mission Type “Beta Storms”: These are new limited-time missions. It begins with “Data Acquisition” – an external storm approaches the mission object. This makes the playing field gradually smaller.
The mission lasts 20 minutes. This special beta storm is in the game until 6.20. After that, further mission types are to be tested.
Weapons in the Shop:
- The Rattenkönig is an assault rifle – a semi-automatic shotgun that fires hefty bullets.
- The Grave Digger Assault Rifle fires medium ammunition and deals high damage.
