Update 4.5 for Fortnite has received another small mini-patch. It includes the already announced new Tommy Gun (Drum Gun) for Battle Royale as a new weapon and a range of new content for the PvE mode! We have the patch notes in English.
The Tommy Gun is finally here! The Drum or Tommy Gun (Drum Gun) was discovered some time ago by data miners and later officially announced. Now an update for Patch 4.5 has come and brought the new weapon into the game.
This update to version 4.5 also brought a wave of innovations for the PvE mode “Save the World”
The Drum Gun – Here are the Stats!
What can the Drum Gun do? The Drum Gun is inspired by the classic Tommy Gun, a submachine gun from the 1930s. It is known from various gangster movies and World War films. Unlike the original, the Drum Gun in Fortnite is not a submachine gun, but an assault rifle.
Here you can find the stats of the Drum Gun:
- Damage: 26/27
- Magazine: 50 shots
- Ammo: Medium
- Rarity: Green and Blue
- Locations: Ground, Chests, and Vending Machines
- Special feature: Combines the damage of a rifle with the high fire rate of a submachine gun
The Changes in “Save the World”
The PvE mode of Fortnite is also getting a wave of innovations:
- New Heroes: The Heroes “Star-Spangled Builder (Penny)” and “Star-Spangled Explorer (A.C.)” will be available from July 5, 2018, in the shop. Both are legendary heroes.
- Stink Bomb: The stink bomb from PvP is also available in PvE now. It is a grenade that deals damage over time through a gas cloud.
- Liberty bringer Pistol: There is a new weapon, the Liberty bringer pistol. With this, you can shoot fireworks and push back opponents. The weapon will be available from July 5, 2018.
- Lynx Assault Rifle in the Shop: From July 5, 2018, you can purchase this powerful assault rifle in the weekly shop of “Save the World”.
