- The countdown will have a logo for the first time.
- It has a cinematic and takes place in Restored Reels. Perhaps it’s mainly a cinematic? (via x.com)

The update is now live, and leakers assure that there are no new skins. Additionally, there are no large files that are encrypted. However, leakers assure that there will be a live event. It is possible that Epic Games will only play a cinematic after the countdown and then transition into server downtime. (via x.com)

The servers are now disabled, and players are being gradually kicked from them. We will now list all the leaks you should know about.
What happens during server downtime? The servers will be shut down. During this time, you cannot play Fortnite.
Server down in Fortnite – when? The servers will be shut down on October 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior (via x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? This depends on the duration of the downtime. This is a rather minor patch. So it could be that the server downtime lasts up to an hour. If complications arise, it could be extended.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games now only occasionally presents patch notes for updates and usually only after downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them here.
What is included in Update 31.41? Officially, nothing has been announced yet, but according to leakers, the files for the upcoming live event and contents for Fortnite: Reload are supposed to be in this update. Skins are rather unlikely here.
Fortnite: Patch 31.41 – Will there be a live event?
What do we know about a live event? No files for the Fortnite live event have been found yet. However, we know that Chapter 5 is ending soon because after Season 4, Season: Remix starts – a journey into the past where players can rediscover Chapter 2.
Such seasons are much shorter but give players the chance to earn special skins, which are often a mix of old classics. Shiina has already found a live event timer in the data that has not yet been activated. It is very possible that this will start after the update.
What could happen in the live event? Currently, players are still roaming the old map of Chapter 5. However, the map of Chapter 2 looks quite different.
It is therefore very possible that an event will plunge the map back into chaos and allow you to time travel to the past. However, this is not yet confirmed.
