What’s in the new patch 12.41? No patch notes have been released, and we received no official information from Epic about what has changed.
However, there is certainly a gift for everyone with this update. Dataminers have also shared leaks that reveal what we might expect in the coming days.
New weapon coating as a gift
What kind of gift is this? With update 12.41, all players who have a Fortnite account will receive the free “Triangular Loader” weapon coating.
This is available as a reward for the “House Party” quiz, where players should answer 20 million correct questions. The goal has been reached, and now the gift is available.
Concert stage is being built further
What has changed? The stage for the live concert of Travis Scott, which is supposed to take place between April 24 and April 26, is continuously being built. In the middle of the water, there is now a half-finished stage.
A golden head of Travis Scott, which you can move, is now also newly visible.
Dataminers find more leaks about the live concert
On Friday, April 24, the first of 5 live concerts is supposed to start. Dataminers have found more leaks related to the Travis Scott live event with update 12.41.
“Travis Scott” skin and cosmetics
What was found? In the data of Fortnite, 3 skins were found that are associated with the Astronomical event. There is the “Travis Scott” skin available in 2 different variants.

These are supposed to be available in the item shop. However, it is still unclear when the items will be added.
Astronomical challenges with rewards
What was found? Together with the skins and cosmetics, the challenges for the “Travis Scott” event were found. These tasks are what we might expect:
If the leak is confirmed, we would need to complete these tasks:
- Dance for 10 seconds on the dance floor at Apres Ski or the yacht
- Jump from different Astro heads (0/5)
- Visit the stage north of Sweaty Sands
Once all challenges are completed, there are 4 rewards: loading screen, spray motif, banner, and emote. However, it is still not exactly known when the challenges will come. According to Epic Games, they should appear on April 21. So it might be that they are added sometime during the day.
