The new update 10.31 in Fortnite is here. We show you in the German patch notes what Epic Games has changed in the game.
What does the update bring? The update brought a few major bug fixes. Items that were removed are back in the game.
Zip Lines are back in the game
Why was the Zip Line reintroduced? The zip line was removed from the game after it had a bug. Now it is back.
This is particularly important for players who still had open challenges with the zip line and want to complete them.
Weapons and Items
2 pickaxes are back: After a fatal bug was found with the pickaxes “Magic Wand” and “AC/DC”, they were temporarily removed from the game. The pickaxes dealt 56 damage per hit.
This error has now been fixed and both are now available in the locker again.
Gameplay Change – Storm Zone
Several players complained that the endgame zone would land in the new rift zones. This was a big issue as players suddenly started dancing at Greasy Grove and couldn’t defend themselves.
Now the storm phases will no longer end at these locations:
- Tilted Town
- Retail Row
- Greasy Grove
- Moisty Palms
Fortnite Mobile with new group features
There is a new feature for Fortnite Mobile that allows players to see their friends at a glance and join groups.
This is supposed to make playing with friends even easier. Groups remain intact and can be easily found again.
Changes in Save the World
Weekly Mission: This week you are supposed to help the Ninja Cloaked Star in the second part of his journey to the radio station.
New in the shop: A new weapon that throws sound is soon available in the weekly shop. It is called the “Deciblaster”. It is supposed to knock back husks with its sound.
The husks then bounce several times on the ground and take damage with each impact. The weapon doesn’t require ammunition, but it doesn’t last very long.
