Fortnite has once again ported many new faces into the BR shooter with Chapter 4. Among them is also the Witcher from The Witcher – Geralt of Rivia. How and, above all, when you can unlock him, you will find out here on MeinMMO.
When do I unlock Geralt of Rivia? Geralt of Rivia is the main character of The Witcher and can be unlocked in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 through the Battle Pass. However, those who treat themselves to the Battle Pass right at the start will notice that Geralt cannot be played right away. This is because he has been integrated as a bonus skin in the Battle Pass.
Epic Games, however, notes that he will be unlockable soon and that in 61 days (as of December 8, 2022). The exact start time is therefore Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Until then, you will have to be patient.
Unlock The Witcher content in Fortnite
How will I be able to unlock Geralt of Rivia? In the past, players have been able to unlock their additional skins in Battle Passes through quests. However, these will only be announced when the unlock timer has expired.
Often, these quests were easy to solve and required players to visit special places, pick up items, or get kills with selected skins. If the quests become known, we will add them to our post.
What items can be unlocked with Geralt? First, six new items from Geralt of Rivia can be unlocked. These are as follows:

- Geralt of Rivia – Loading screen
- The Witcher’s Weapons – Back accessory
- Muscle Memory – Spray motif
- Igni Sign – Emote
- Witcher Steel Sword – Harvesting tool
- Geralt of Rivia – Outfit
These are all the visible rewards that players can obtain from buying the Battle Pass. Note that Geralt has five more rewards, but these will only be unveiled at a later date. We suspect that these could be additional styles for the skin, as well as a weapon wrap and emotes.
If new information regarding the rewards or a postponement of its unlock becomes known, we will update our post accordingly.
What do you think of Geralt? Are you excited about the skin? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
