The mechs are supposed to be one of the highlights in Season 10 of Fortnite . However, various pros, such as streamer Tfue, are annoyed by the powerful robots.
These are the mechs: Since the start of Season 10, these robots have been in the game. You can get into the mechs as a duo, easily flatten entire houses, and shoot with large rockets.
For many players, the mechs are just too strong. They are difficult to defeat and often determine the outcome of a game.
The mechs are so unpopular among the pros
What do the pros say? The famous streamer and World Cup participant Tfue already harbors a real hatred for the combat robots. In various clips, you can see how he gets taken out by the mechs and has almost no chance of survival.
Out of his anger towards the robots, a laugh eventually emerged. When his duo partner Cloak first complained about a mech in his area and then got eliminated, Tfue just started laughing.
Other personalities are also annoyed by the robots. Streamer CouRage sees leaving the match as the only alternative to counter the mech. He says that 80% of his recent matches have been decided by the mech.
Are the mechs really such a problem? For the pros, the combat robots are a big problem. After all, it doesn’t take much skill to flatten buildings with a robot and shoot wildly.
However, since the mech has so many hit points, it cannot be taken down quickly. The best option is to just flee. However, the later it gets in the endgame, the harder it is to flee. A mech often decides the outcome at the end.
How does Epic respond? An official statement from Epic regarding the mechs is still pending. However, a message from an “Epic Games expert” appeared on Reddit , where he supposedly responded to a player’s email to Epic.

In it, he says that they want to nerf the mech soon and apologizes for the inconveniences caused by the robot. However, whether this is actually an official response from Epic remains to be seen.
If a nerf comes, it should be in the upcoming updates. It will be interesting to see how Epic tries to make the robot weaker.
What do you think? Does the robot need a nerf or is it good that it is so strong?
