In week 6 of Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale, you need to complete time trials 5 times to complete one of the challenges. But where are the 5 time trials hidden and how does the time race work? You will find out here.
But not a racetrack: With the task “Complete time trials,” it does not mean – as previously assumed – a race on the racetrack at Paradise Palms. In the challenges of week 6 of Season 5, you have to complete parkour courses à la Super Mario instead.
Update 10/11: The time trials are back in the challenges for Fortnite week 3 of Season 6. However, Epic has selected “new” target locations. You can find the new target locations for Season 6 here.
Complete 5 time trials in week 6, Season 5 – here’s how
Where do I need to go? The time trials are located at various places on the map. You can find the known spots here:
- A5 – South of Snobby Shores at the ramp
- C2 – At the stone head to the east of Junk Junction
- E7 – Directly west of Salty Springs by the river
- G3 – Southwest of Lazy Links and northwest of Tomato Town in the river
- I5 – On the big house at Lonely Lodge
- H9 – North of the gas station at the lagoon in the desert
- H6 – In Retail Row outside the mall

How to achieve the top time
How do the time trials work? To start the trial, you need to activate a blue glowing stopwatch at the respective location. The timer starts, and a typical 8-bit music shows that it’s counting now.
Like in Super Mario: You will now see more clock icons that you need to touch. If you have touched them all, the trial is completed.
If you don’t complete all within the allotted time, you have to start over.
Building helps: Ideally, you should build ramps or drive with a golf cart. And always watch out for your fellow players so you don’t get “swiped”.
