In Fortnite there are again some cool new skins released. This time, the cool punk rocker Powerchord comes with her Anarchy Pickaxe and her Stage Dive Glider.
Fortnite delights its fans with always new, wacky skins. Some players complained, however, that the best outfits were only designed for male characters. The Nutcracker, the Love God, the Battle Hound, Wukong and Rex were all only for men.
Recently, there was the strong Highlands Warrior and now the even cooler punk rock skin “Powerchord” is finally online.
The new Headbanger set
The punk rock skins were teased some time ago and are finally in the game. The new set is aptly called the “Headbanger set” and consists of the following items:
- Skin “Powerchord”: The long-awaited punk rocker skin. With this, you roam as a rebellious anarcho-musician. Additionally, there’s a cool back bling in the shape of a pink guitar. You can also use it with other skins. Likewise, you can give the rocker a different back bling. Powerchord is a legendary skin and costs a proud 2,000 V-Bucks. That’s about 20 Euros!
- Harvesting Tool “Anarchy Pickaxe”: This pickaxe is decorated with spikes, studs, and plush and perfectly fits the punk rock flair. The pickaxe costs 800 V-Bucks, which is approximately 8 Euros.
- Glider “Stage Dive”: A casual glider in punk style with studs and fishnet look. The glider also costs 800 V-Bucks and thus 8 Euros.
In total, you have to spend 3,600 V-Bucks for the whole set, which corresponds to about 36 Euros.
Is more Headbanger content coming?
Unfortunately, there are no special emotes for the new skins set on offer yet. But as we know Epic, they will likely add some soon. And who knows, maybe a male counterpart to Powerchord will come along.
As always, the new skins are purely cosmetic and provide no gameplay advantages.
