What have I missed? Fortnite celebrated with the end of Chapter 5 with a live event. In this, the well-known artists Juice WRLD, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Snoop Dogg held a concert.
Now, all fans are eagerly waiting for the downtime to finally get started in Chapter 6, but it has not yet been activated. We will show you when the servers will be shut down.
When does the downtime start? Officially, the downtime begins at 08:00 AM German time on December 1, 2024. We will be there with a ticker at that time to provide you with the most important information.
When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the duration of the downtime. This is a larger patch as a new season is heralded. It may be that the server downtime lasts up to an hour. If complications arise, this may extend.
When will patch notes be released? As with every start of a new chapter, there will be a large and comprehensive list of patch notes with Chapter 6 so that players know what has changed. We will list the patch notes as soon as they are known.
What’s in Update 33.00? With version 33.00, Fortnite begins Chapter 6. In this, fans will be taken to a Japanese era, where they must hunt and defeat demons.

What do we know about the skins? As usual, Epic Games demonstrates its new skins from the upcoming battle passes in the latest trailers they release. Therefore, you can expect the following skins:
- A new ninja variant of “Hope” (skin from Battle Pass Chapter 5 Season 1)
- A modern samurai warrior with a red jacket
- A cursed warrior with arms enveloped in black smoke and a white mask
- A demoness with black eyes and horns
- A modern warrior with turquoise hair
- A mix of cat and robot with a blue hood
- Godzilla
- Baymax in his armor
