The 1st live event with Travis Scott took place on Friday, April 24 in Fortnite. It was a real spectacle. Our author Eilyn Rapp was there live. See here how the largest live concert so far unfolded.
How did the event go? The live concert started at 1:05 AM. Players were on stage waiting. Music played, and one could see a planet getting closer and closer.
Suddenly, all players were thrown into the air, and a giant, animated Travis Scott appeared and began to perform.
Players were transported from one world to another, where the entire scenery changed. One moment you were watching Travis, the next moment you found yourself underwater, and then suddenly you were in space.
If you missed the event, there are still 4 opportunities to watch it yourself. The next concerts will take place on these dates:
- Friday, April 24 at 4:00 PM
- Saturday, April 25 at 6:00 AM
- Saturday, April 25 at 5:00 PM
- Sunday, April 26 at 12:00 AM

Millions of players watch
The concert was huge, not only because it was a spectacle but because so many players watched.
Fortnite tweeted that 12.3 million people were watching live during the Travis Scott concert.
In comparison: At the Marshmello concert, which took place more than a year ago, about 10 million players watched. Thus, the Travis Scott concert set a new record.
The “Travis Scott” concert was simply epic
I, Eilyn Rapp, was live at the concert and must say: It is so far the best live event that has ever taken place in Fortnite.

The whole animation, the lights, the music, and the different mechanics really amazed me. Epic even managed to allow swimming underwater, and that was just for a brief scene in the concert.
There has never been a live event that showed so many different scenes. Each scene had its own accent and new things to discover. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen.
There were constantly surprises that almost gave you goosebumps. This concert is truly recommended, whether you are a “Travis Scott” fan or not.
The execution was so epic that the music was almost pushed into the background. Personally, I think Epic has really outdone themselves. I can truly only recommend everyone to watch it for themselves.
