In Fortnite, Chapter 2 has started. We received a new map and the story has been told. But what is actually with the mysterious bunker that has been on the map since Season 4?
Which bunker is meant? In Season 4, a bunker appeared in Wailing Woods. However, it could neither be opened nor entered.
If you wanted to peek through the hole, you could only see a hole that led to nowhere.
The bunker is still there
Many have probably wondered what has become of the bunker now that we have a new map. Actually, the story of Chapter 1 should have been finished and told, but the mystery surrounding this mysterious bunker has not yet been resolved.
Where is the bunker now? The bunker from Season 4 can even be found on the new map. If you land southeast of Retail Row, near a snowy hill at the edge of the map, you will find the mysterious bunker.
However, it is hidden in a bush that can be destroyed to take a closer look at the bunker.

Does the story continue?
If the bunker from Season 4 can now be found on the new map, it must mean that the story of Chapter 1 has not yet been fully told.
What does the bunker have to do with the story? The bunker appeared in Season 4 when the superhero theme was trending. Back then, it was suspected to be a hideout for the villain Omega.
Epic has also never commented on this bunker and provided no clues about what lies behind it. What exactly this bunker has to do with the story is unclear.
But since the bunker can be found on the new map, it must have something to do with the story.
A new large bunker has appeared on the map: Additionally, you can now find a large bunker in the high snowy hill southeast of Lazy Lake.
If you land at this location, a message appears: New point of interest. However, the location is still encrypted and the bunker door cannot be opened or destroyed.
The place itself strongly resembles Area 51. It is surrounded by barbed wire and there are still vehicles there that look like they belong to security personnel.
What is behind those doors must not be discovered at any cost. It must have something to do with the story.
Do the two bunkers have something in common? When you look at the locations on the map, they don’t appear to be far from each other. Could the bunker from Season 4 have a connection to the new bunker?
Are all the secrets of Fortnite stored there? What could be so important that players must not find out?
What is actually inside the bunker?
Many players already tried to destroy the bunker entrance in Season 4. They attempted with pickaxes, weapons, and explosions, but nothing could open it.
A player even tried to drive in with a shopping cart.
What is actually in the 1st bunker? YouTuber StanPlay wanted to get to the bottom of this and found a way to see the inside of the bunker.
He tried to use the drone from replay mode to get under the map and see the lower area of the bunker. He succeeded. While it looked cool, unfortunately, it could not clarify what is behind the bunker.
