When does the event start? The film begins at 6:00 PM German time in Fortnite.
Initially, Epic Games announced a start time of 3 PM. That would be quite early to watch a movie. However, it seems to have been just a display error, as Fortnite Status explained on Twitter on June 26.
How long does it last? Officially, the film “Prestige – The Master of Magic” has a runtime of 2 hours and 8 minutes. It is unclear whether there will be breaks during the showing.
Epic says: “We will show you one of three well-known films by director and producer Christopher Nolan in full length in Fortnite – Inception, Batman Begins or Prestige – The Master of Magic!”
How can you watch the event? Participation is easy. Log into Fortnite: Battle Royale and select “Party Royale” in the game mode. Start this, and you will land on a special map.
In the far west of the map, you will find the large screen on which the film will be shown.
Tip: It is unclear how large the turnout for this movie event will be. So log into Fortnite in time, so you don’t end up in front of a closed door.

What is it about? Prestige – The Master of Magic is a film from 2007 by director and producer Christopher Nolan. He is known for his reboot of the Batman film series as well as the science fiction hit Inception.
Prestige is a thriller/drama and tells the story of two magicians at the end of the 19th century. The two aspiring illusionists Robert Angier (played by Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (played by Christian Bale) are in a relentless competition with each other.
