In Fortnite: Professional Tfue addresses the snipers. They only rely on luck and disrupt the entire competitive game. Players have a different opinion.
This is Tfue’s criticism: Tfue is the best Fortnite player in the world. When he shows up, it’s a kill fest. If he does get taken down, it’s usually by a sniper. This annoys the pro.
“Sniping is just luck! That’s why I don’t do it. It takes zero skill. Most of the time when I die, it’s some bot with a lucky headshot!”
Is sniping unfair?
According to Tfue, sniping is not something a pro should do. Rather, he believes that sniping actually ruins competitive play in Fortnite. Shooting someone from a distance and waiting for a lucky shot is worthless.
This is what Tfue wants: Therefore, Tfue would prefer to ban sniping from the game, at least in competitive mode. In normal play, he thinks sniping is still okay.
Community says “Cry about it!”
This is what the community says: In comments on the topic, the community spoke out loudly. Most comments are quite clear and contradict the pro:
- “Sniping is not luck-dependent! It takes timing and skill to land your shots!”
- “Shotguns do a lot of damage at close range and hit the head better. He [Tfue] is just a baby who is upset because he lost to someone with skill.”
- “I love it when Epic caters to the 1% of players who think they deserve changes because they play at the competitive level.”
- “Snipers are meant to be deadly. If you don’t want to get sniped, then don’t run out in the open and get cover!”

It seems that players do not share the opinion of pro Tfue. However, some are at least cooperative enough to consider separate playlists and rules for casual and competitive play to be a good idea.
What do you think about the debate on sniping and the pros? Do you agree with Tfue or do you think it’s excessive whining?
