This is the second teaser: On Monday afternoon around 4:00 PM German time, Fortnite officially released its second teaser for the upcoming 10th season “Season X”.
The image is mostly dark, showing the body of a supposed robot with 2 weapons on its arms. In the background, the “X” shines in bright blue, which apparently stands for Season X (10).
Fortnite writes: “Look Forward”. It also refers to the start date of Season 10, August 1, 2019.
What did the first teaser show? The first teaser for the new Season X was shown by Fortnite during the live stream of the World Championship. This contrasts somewhat with the new teaser, as the first one spoke about looking back instead of forward.
Therefore, there remains the suspicion that Season 10 could be related to time travel. The first teaser showed an old location that players know well.
These theories have fans – Visitor skin or Mecha?
Return of a skin: Players recognize the logo of the Visitor in the image. This is an outfit that joined Fortnite: Battle Royale in Season 4. Only the most diligent players could earn it.
It is now suspected that the skin will return. Curiously, its flight with the rocket through the dimensional rifts triggered the major events of the later seasons.
Are mechs coming into play? The second theory revolves around new vehicles. Some players see the robot as a sign that mechs might be released. These are robots that players can enter and control, similar to games like Titanfall.

Futuristic content is received mixed in the community. One player writes, “More futuristic stuff? Oh damn, I’m not really a fan of the futuristic stuff Fortnite has brought so far. I hope I’m wrong about this.”
Another writes: “Please, let it be a skin. Please, please no more overpowered new vehicles. These vehicles have been the biggest problem in the last 3 seasons in my opinion.”
