We at MeinMMO wanted to find out together with you which are the most popular weapons in Fortnite. The results show that your favorite weapon is the one that professionals hate the most.
This was the survey: We asked you in a survey, which weapons you prefer to play in Season 2 and let you choose your favorite weapons.
The survey ended on March 20. 789 readers participated.
Each of you was allowed to choose up to 3 different weapons.

Place 3: 2 Scar Assault Rifles
In 3rd place, 2 Scars landed with 11% of the votes. We have the regular Scar Assault Rifle, just as we know it, and the mythical version of it.
The Scar has been in the game for a long time and is considered one of the best weapons in Fortnite. So it’s no wonder that you particularly enjoy playing with this weapon.
But you also like the new mythical version: Skye’s Scar Assault Rifle. However, this can only be found with the mini-boss Skye and there is only one of it in a match.
Place 2: The Shotgun
In 2nd place with 12% of the votes is the good old shotgun. Especially suitable for close combat, as it deals little to no damage at range.
The advantage of the shotgun is that you can fire 8 shots in quick succession, which sets it apart from the pump shotgun. Although it deals less damage, you can counter faster if you miss your shot.
The shotgun is your favorite close combat weapon and you would probably trade it for a pump shotgun.
Place 1: The Heavy Sniper, hated by professionals
In first place, we have a weapon that is very controversial. Players have requested a nerf for the heavy sniper rifle or for it to be removed from the game.
But you seem to enjoy playing with this weapon and have therefore voted for it diligently. 15% of you prefer to play with a heavy sniper rifle.
These weapons you only take when there is no alternative
The following 9 weapons performed quite poorly and were only chosen by a few. Whether it’s because they are bad and have their disadvantages or because you know better alternatives. These weapons are only taken when there is no better choice:
