For quite some time, the symbiotes in Fortnite have been causing trouble. But combined with a very specific weapon, you can humiliate your enemies without risk and have fun. A streamer has demonstrated this.
What combo are we talking about? This is the combo “Symbiote + Shockwave Launcher”. These two weapons have recently landed in the item pool. The Symbiote appears randomly in a canister across the map. The Shockwave Launcher, however, can be found in chests or on the ground. So keep an eye out for it.
Paired with a bit of skill, you can eliminate your enemies in style without much effort.
Streamer shows you how to humiliate your enemies
The streamer “thesquatingdog” uploaded a clip on Reddit demonstrating this combo. He uses, as already mentioned, the Symbiote from Venom and a Shockwave Launcher. He found himself against the last player in the match.
As is common in Fortnite, entire build battles arise in such situations. Wild structures can appear in the blink of an eye, but the streamer was not really interested in that. He tracked down the player, shot himself into the air with his Shockwave Launcher, and then attacked him with the Symbiote.
This put both in the air. The streamer didn’t care about fall damage since the Shockwave Launcher projected a protective effect onto him.
In the end, the streamer landed gently on the ground while his opponent suffered a humiliating defeat. Due to the impact, his enemy broke both axes, and the match was won.
How does the community react to this? Players find such combos funny. Standard loadouts can become boring over time. Therefore, players look for tactics to make their daily routines more exciting. A reddit user commented:

Is this easy to replicate? Practice makes perfect. That said, you need two weapons that aren’t so easy to find. The good thing is – Fortnite tells you on the map where the symbiotes are located. In every match, you can find two versions that grant you exactly the same powers.
The versions are:
- Carnage Symbiote
- Venom Symbiote
If you’ve found one of the two, you just need to find the special
Shockwave Launcher. These can be found randomly. With some luck, a Shockwave Launcher will drop for you from a chest.
If you have all the components, you just need an opponent who builds high, accuracy, and the right timing.
Don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t work out the first time; the season is still long, so you have plenty of time to try it yourself.
