The online shooter Fortnite: Battle Royale is approaching a new season with Chapter 5 Season 4. A teaser trailer lasting 91 seconds now gives players a taste of the season, which will start on August 16. Epic reveals and showcases 8 skins from the Battle Pass and announces 3 new weapons.
What does the teaser trailer show? The 90-second teaser trailer for the new Fortnite season cheekily recreates many scenes from famous Marvel movies:
- We see Doctor Doom, along with Emma Frost and a strange variant of Sabertooth, freeing the Spider-Man villain Mysterio. Doctor Doom tears down the remnants of the current season in Fortnite, with whom they collaborated with Fallout.
- We see the Fortnite variant of Captain America (as Captain Jonesey) and Wolverine in the banana form Peelverine.
- The teaser trailer features iconic scenes from the Avengers movies as forces of supervillains and superheroes clash against each other.

What skins are in the Battle Pass this time? Fortnite lists 8 skins:
- Gwenpool – the mix of Gwen Stacy from Spider-Man and Deadpool – this skin will be available to anyone who purchases the “Absolute Doom Battle Pass,” in the normal version costs it 950 V-Bucks, in the premium version 1,500 V-Bucks.
- War Machine – known from the Iron Man movies.
- Peelverine – the banana variant of Wolverine.
- Emma Frost – an icy opponent of the X-Men, a telepath without the annoying scruples that plague Professor Xavier.
- Captain Jonesey – the Fortnite mascot as Captain America.
- Mysterio – Spider-Man’s opponent who relies on special effects.
- Shuri – from the Black Panther universe.
- Doctor Doom himself – who will become a special reward through quests for the Battle Pass in Fortnite.
These skins can already be seen in the trailer.
What else is known? Epic is teasing 3 new weapons:
