As a Rebel in LEGO Fortnite

With Update 29.40, a major update has arrived in the LEGO mode of Fortnite. Players can build a rebellion and even establish a village. Additionally, there are many items and weapons such as laser swords that players can use in the fight against the Empire. The weapons include:

• Crossbow: Fires a bolt that causes damage and then explodes.
  • Unlock the Crossbow recipe by adding Durasteel to your inventory.
• DL-44: There is no substitute for a good blaster by your side.
  • Unlock the DL-44 recipe by adding Durasteel to your inventory.
• E-11: Standard blaster for Imperial stormtroopers.
  • Unlock the E-11 recipe by adding Durasteel scrap to your inventory.
• Thermal detonator: The preferred detonator of bounty hunters! This explosive throwable covers a larger area than dynamite.
  • Unlock the Thermal detonator recipe by adding Durasteel to your inventory.

Finally, there is also a new event pass for LEGO Fortnite, which allows you to unlock various goodies and a skin. You can unlock Chewbacca’s skin for 1,400 V-Bucks.

Important Bug Fixes and Improvements

• A bug has been fixed where players sometimes did not receive the expected gifts from villagers.
• A bug has been fixed that caused crashes when getting out of bed in rare cases.

Fortnite brings two new tracks

Important Improvements, Bug Fixes, and Adjustments

• The respawns have been adjusted to ensure that you do not respawn further ahead. You should also be less likely to be placed too far behind.
  • This change also addresses a bug that allowed players to reset at the starting line, trigger a collision, and respawn at a more distant checkpoint.
• Bots have been improved and exhibit better driving behavior.
• Due to player feedback after v29.30, the previously blocked shortcut at Hase has been reopened.
• Teleport checkpoints now also teleport you even when marked as “already visited”.
• A bug has been fixed where the speedometer would not update when performing a front air roll without pressing the gas pedal.
• The barriers in Rattlesnake and Radical Arc II have been cleaned up so players can no longer drive through objects.
• A bug has been fixed where “Removed for inactivity” appeared in English regardless of the selected language.
• A bug has been fixed that caused crashes on Android devices.

Fortnite brings lightsabers and new blasters back to the battlefield with the crossover to Star Wars. Additionally, there are also new chests where you can grab the items. What happens during an update? Today Epic Games is shutting down the servers for maintenance. You will not be able to play Fortnite during the downtime, so it’s important to complete the tasks from the avatar before the server goes down.

Fortnite: Start and Duration of Server Downtime

Server Down in the Morning – What You Need to Know: Epic Games has announced server downtime for Fortnite, set for 10:00 AM German time. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior to the server shutdown – so you cannot start new rounds during that time.

When will the servers be back online? It depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no complications, you can expect about an hour of downtime. However, it’s also possible that the server downtime might last until around 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM. We will keep you updated in that case.

When will the patch notes come? Epic Games is currently only sporadically releasing its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode. If they exist, they will only be published after the downtime. We will list them as soon as Epic Games releases them.

What Content Could Appear with the “Star Wars” Update?

Epic Games has impressively announced the new collaboration regarding Star Wars, but what you can expect is still unknown. Leakers, however, have their sources and already know roughly what content players can expect in the new update. The following is known (via x.com):
