What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be shut down. During this time you will not be able to play Fortnite.
When does the server downtime in Fortnite start? The servers will be shut down on September 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM. A short time before that (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (Source: x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. This is a major update, so expect 1 to 2 hours.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only sporadically presents patch notes for updates, usually only after the downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them with us.
