In Fortnite the servers are down today, March 20, on all platforms (PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance will be used to upload the new update to the servers. We will let you know when it continues.
What is happening today in Fortnite? Since Epic has already indirectly announced through the Battle Pass that the 1st season will end soon, the appropriate maintenance has now been announced. This is to prepare for an update so that Season 2 in Chapter 3 can start.

Important times for the server downtimes today in Fortnite – When and how long is it offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: The server maintenance was announced on Twitter and will start at 8 AM in Germany. 30 minutes before the start of the maintenance, matchmaking will be disabled.
When can you play again? Since this is a major update, the servers will be unavailable for several hours. In the past, Epic has shown that the servers were usually accessible in the morning, allowing players to play at the start of the day.
