What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be taken offline. During this time, you cannot play Fortnite.
When does the server downtime in Fortnite start? The servers will go offline on September 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Shortly before (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (Source: x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. This is a major update, so expect 1 to 2 hours.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only sporadically releases patch notes for updates, typically after the downtime. Once they are available, you will read them with us.
