In Fortnite, the servers will be down on all platforms today, March 20th (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load update 24.01 onto the servers.
What is happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is shutting down the servers for Season 2 Chapter 4 for the first time. This update is likely just maintenance to fix various bugs in the game. We will still accompany the maintenance and keep you updated on the ongoing downtime.
Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long will they be offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 9:00 AM German time to install a hotfix. The matchmaking will already be disabled 30 minutes earlier, so you won’t be able to look for new rounds after 8:30 AM.
When can you play again? This is a short update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could bring the servers back online around 10:00 AM or even 11:00 AM. However, this is not confirmed.
