According to the leaker Shiina, the update will not bring any new skins. Rather, it is being used to add the new reload map. This will be unlocked later today.

The server downtime has begun, and you will now be kicked from the servers. We will keep you updated should any leaks be published.

Epic Games has now disabled player search. At 12:00 PM, the complete shutdown of the servers will follow.
What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be shut down. During this time, you cannot play Fortnite.
Server downtime in Fortnite – when? The servers will be shut down on April 15, 2025, at 12 PM. Shortly before that (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (via x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. The developers are speaking of a short downtime here. So expect 30 minutes to 1 hour.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games is only sporadically presenting patch notes for the updates now and usually only after the downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them on our site.

What can I expect with the upcoming update? The leaker Shiina has already made some guesses on X.com about what exactly could be in the update. The update is mainly expected to fix some bugs.
A large update with many new cosmetic items for the item shop is not planned and is supposed to be released at a later time. It is also not expected that this update contains a major unban wave.
