Epic Games Status estimates the end of downtime at 11:30 AM. However, expect complications and an extended downtime should problems arise (via status.epicgames.com).

The player search has now been disabled. Complete shutdown of the servers is expected at 10:00 AM.
What happens when the server is down? The servers will be shut down. During this time, you will not be able to play Fortnite.
Server down in Fortnite – from when? The servers will be shut down on April 1, 2025, at 10 AM. Shortly before (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (via x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? This depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. Due to the lack of official information from the developers, one can only speculate at this point. Since it is a smaller patch, expect 1-2 hours of downtime.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only sporadically presents patch notes for updates and usually only after the downtime. Once they are available, you will read them here.

What can I expect with the upcoming update? The leaker Shiina has already expressed some guesses on X.com about what exactly could be included in the update. According to him, you can expect the following things:
- Scorpion Combat Kit
- First Blood Medallion
- New Target Locations
- Classic Combat XP Quests
