The new update 7.10 is already on its way and Fortnite is down. The corresponding server maintenance for Fortnite has already begun on all platforms (PC/Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android). Maintenance brings a new patch. When are the servers offline and when will Fortnite be playable again?
The Fortnite servers are down, what is happening? Since 11 AM this morning, the Fortnite servers have been unreachable. Maintenance has been started to bring forth a new update.
The update 7.10 is the first major patch after the start of Season 7.

Fortnite servers go offline – When will they be back online?
When will the server maintenance for update 7.10 be finished? Experiences from the past show that Epic usually takes between 2 to 3 hours to deploy new patches. By 2 PM at the latest, you should be able to log in again today, on December 18th.
Originally, the update was postponed due to last-minute issues, but now it has surprisingly been rolled out again.
It is not known whether this circumstance will lead to longer maintenance.

Special Event “14 Days of Fortnite” is coming
What will the update bring for the Battle Royale mode? Unfortunately, the new hoverboards will not be included, as Epic has postponed them at short notice.
