What happens when the server goes down? The servers will be taken offline. During this time, you cannot play Fortnite.
When does the server downtime in Fortnite start? The servers will go offline on December 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Shortly before (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (Source: x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. This is a major update, so expect at least one to three hours.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only sporadically posts patch notes for updates and usually only after downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them with us.
