Today, Thursday, September 10th, the Fortnite servers will go down on all platforms (PC/Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, Android). During this time, the new Update 14.10 will be deployed. What’s in the new patch?
What’s happening today in Fortnite? The Update 14.10 will be deployed today on all platforms. Fortnite Status announced the patch on Twitter. This is the first update after the Update 14.00 that introduced Season 4.
Update 14:25: The Update 14.10 is now here. We will show you in the German patch notes what has changed.
It seems to be a rather large update (on PC), as Fortnite Status mentioned in a comment under the Twitter post. For the other platforms, the patch size shouldn’t be larger.
Before players can embark on an adventure, the servers will be shut down, as usual.
Fortnite servers will be shut down – when and how long?
Downtime starts in the morning: The downtime for Update 14.10 started at 10:00 AM German time. At 9:30 AM, you could join a new match for the last time, after which the servers were shut down and Fortnite was down for a short time.
How long will the maintenance take? Based on experiences from the last weeks and months, the work should be completed around noon.

Technical problems or other delays may lead to an extension of the maintenance work. If this happens, you will find out here at MeinMMO.
When will the patch notes be released? Based on past experiences with updates in the new chapter of Fortnite, it’s likely that no patch notes will be released for the battle royale mode again.
If this happens again today, we will compile the major changes for you and publish them in the form of German patch notes.
What new content does Update 14.10 bring?
What new features will there be in the battle royale mode? Fortnite Status left a hint in the tweet: “Ease the action”. Could this be a hint about a new superhero coming into the Fortnite world?
After all, there is only one mini-boss on the map and it’s likely that more will follow. Perhaps this update will add a new one.
What does the update bring for the “Save the World” mode? The last update for Fortnite’s PvE mode launched the first new seasonal season in Save the World and brought some content.
However, it is still unclear whether Update 14.10 will bring new content again. Now that RDW is out of early access, Epic has announced that there will no longer be as many updates for the PvE mode as before.
