What’s happening today in Fortnite? For a new update, the Fortnite developers at Epic Games announced maintenance. During this time, the servers will be unavailable.

When are the servers down?
- 9:30 AM – At this time, you will be able to join a new lobby for the last time before the servers go offline
- 10:00 AM – If everything goes according to plan, the servers should go offline
- Maintenance begins now – Players can no longer play games in Fortnite
How long will the servers be offline? Based on the recent server downtimes, Fortnite should be available again around noon. We cannot provide a reliable time here, as technical issues or other irregularities could cause delays.
Where are the patch notes? On Twitter, Fortnite announced that there would be more information when the downtime is over. We hope that the developers will then release proper patch notes. Epic Games has been sparse with patch notes in many recent updates.

What a leak says: According to a Fortnite leak, the new update 11.30 is supposed to bring split-screen to consoles PS4 and Xbox One. Mobile devices, PC, and Switch are reportedly excluded from this content.
