What is happening today in Fortnite? The Update 12.61 will be applied today on all platforms. Fortnite Status announced the patch on Twitter.
Update 10:55 AM: The Update 12.61 is now live. We have summarized the biggest changes in the German patch notes.
This will be the last update before the live event scheduled for May 30, 2020. But before players can explore the map, the Fortnite servers will be shut down.
Fortnite servers going down – when and for how long?
Downtime starting in the morning: Downtime will begin at 8:00 AM German time. You can join a new match for the last time at 7:30 AM. After that, the servers will be unreachable, and Fortnite will be down.
How long will the maintenance last? Based on experiences from the past weeks and months, the work should be completed before noon.

When will the patch notes be available? Based on past experiences, there will likely be no patch notes released for the Battle Royale mode by Epic Games again.

What new content does Update 12.61 bring?
What new features will there be in the Battle Royale mode? This update could introduce further hints for the live event of Season 2 into the game. Otherwise, the following bugs are likely to be fixed:
