What is happening today in Fortnite? The update 16.30 was announced by Fortnite Status on Twitter and is supposed to be applied today. The patch brings some changes to the game.

Before players can start searching for all the new features, the Fortnite servers will first be taken down for a while.
Fortnite servers are going down – when and for how long?
Downtime starts in the morning: The downtime for update 16.30 starts today again at 10:00 AM German time. At 9:30 AM you can join a new round for the last time, after that the servers will be taken down and Fortnite will be down for a certain time.
How long will the maintenance work take? Based on the experiences of the last weeks and months, the work should be completed by noon at the latest.
However, technical problems or other delays could cause an extension of the maintenance work. If that is the case, you will hear it here on MeinMMO from us.
When will the patch notes come? Based on the experience of the last updates in the new chapter of Fortnite, there will likely be no or only superficial patch notes released for the Battle Royale mode.
However, if major, important changes are made, we will collect them for you and create a form of German patch notes. We will then publish these patch notes here on MeinMMO for you.
What new content does update 16.30 bring?
What new features will there be in the Battle Royale mode? Fortnite Status presented some innovations and changes in the announcement of the update on Twitter. This is what you can expect after the downtime:
- A new exotic bow
- The new LTM “The floor restores”
- Improvements to the inventory menu
Additionally, the challenges for the secret skin of Season 6 are supposed to be available today. Fortnite already presented the “Neymar Jr” skin.
Fortnite does not appear to bring many changes with update 16.30, but there are a few things you can experiment with like the new bow. There will likely also be a few bugs fixed. It will be exciting to see if Epic fixes the glitch that allowed players to survive infinitely in the storm and gain unfair victories.
