Fortnite will be down today, Wednesday, November 19, 2025, for a patch. What you should know about version 38.11 can be found at MeinMMO.

What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be shut down. During this time, you won’t be able to play Fortnite.

When does the server downtime in Fortnite start? The servers will be shut down on November 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM. A short time before (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (source: x.com).

When can I play Fortnite again? That depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. This is a smaller update, so expect at least an hour.

When will patch notes be available? Epic Games only sporadically posts patch notes for updates online, usually only after the downtime. As soon as they are available, you can read them with us.

What can I expect from the upcoming update? The reliable leaker Shiina on X has already shared some details regarding the upcoming content of the update. You can expect the following:

• A live event countdown is expected to be added
• Players will soon be able to participate in a stress test for the live event without spoilers
• The Winter Rush event will bring you a free skin
  • You can unlock this skin from tomorrow according to leaks

There may also be more surprises waiting for you in the data of the new update, but so far these are all the leaks that Shiina has outlined. It remains to be seen what Epic Games has prepared for The Simpsons before the end of the season, as this season is much shorter than normal seasons.
