Fortnite will be down today, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, for a patch. What you should know about version 37.10 can be found here.
What happens during server downtime? The servers will be taken down. During this time, you cannot play Fortnite.
When does the server downtime in Fortnite start? The servers will go down on August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Shortly before that (about half an hour), matchmaking will be disabled (via x.com).
When can I play Fortnite again? This depends on the size of the update and the duration of the downtime. This is a major update, so expect around 1 to 2 hours.
When will patch notes be released? Epic Games only occasionally releases patch notes for the updates and usually only after the downtime. Once they are available, you can read them with us.
