Changes, Improvements, and Bug Fixes
- Problems with low “storage space” or “too many buildings nearby” can be resolved as follows:
- Low storage space: Try to reduce the overall number of buildings, the number of different buildings, or the number of items and creatures. Leaving densely built areas or exiting and re-entering the world can also help. (Note: The storage space available to you depends on the platform you are playing on.)
- Too many buildings nearby: Try not to build your buildings too close together. You should also use larger building pieces instead of several smaller pieces to achieve a similar result. Building at another location or removing buildings you no longer need can also be helpful.
- Villagers in the rebel village no longer count towards your worldwide villager limit.
- The display of the worldwide villager count in the village center now shows the correct number of villagers.
- Skeletons now spawn with a lower chance in villages.
- Rubies can now also be found in lava caves on Star Wars Islands.
- Animals can now better avoid campfires.
- Wolves have now learned to swim.
Fortnite Festival: Patch Notes
Metallica comes as a new pass: Fortnite is currently introducing a new artist from time to time that players can indulge in. This time, the rock band Metallica is in the spotlight.

With this pass, fans receive some goodies such as emotes, skins for their instruments, and four new skins for their collection.
PvP in Fortnite Festival: A new mode in Fortnite Festival lets you compete against 16 other players. You can sabotage enemies to kick them out of the ring. The one with the highest score wins as a musical genius.

We are now listing all the leaks that are currently known:
10:34 AM
The servers are now disabled. The update is also ready for download and is 11.794 GB on the PS5. We will list the leaks shortly.
What happens during an update? Today Epic Games is taking the servers offline for maintenance. You will not be able to play Fortnite during the downtime, so be prepared.
This time, according to leakers, a Metallica collaboration is taking place. This will unlock new skins, weapons, and also the super styles of the individual “Battle Pass” skins. What leaks are available and when the server down begins, you can find out here.
Fortnite: Start and duration of the server down
Server down in the morning – What you need to know: Epic Games has announced its server down for Fortnite and set it for 10:00 AM German time. The matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the servers are turned off – so you cannot start any new rounds during this time.
When will the servers be back online? It depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no complications, you can expect a downtime of two hours. However, it may also be the case that the server down does not resolve until around 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM. We will keep you updated in that case.
When will the patch notes come? Epic Games is currently only sporadically releasing its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode. If they are available, they will be released only after the downtime. We will list the patch notes as soon as Epic Games releases them.
Which contents could arrive with update 30.10?
Some information about new collaborations has already leaked, and it’s known that Metallica is the next artist to be immortalized as skins. What you can exactly expect is listed here (via x.com):
- New cosmetic items
- Metallica collaboration + concert
- New shop areas
- New mythical items
- Jam Track lobby music
- Super styles for “Battle Pass” skins
- New island for loot
- And more!
