What is happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is shutting down the servers of Chapter 5 Season 1 to upload a new update. According to leakers, this update is supposed to add new content for the upcoming modes of Fortnite.

Fortnite: Server down – When and how long will they be offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 09:00 AM German time. The matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes prior, so you will not be able to search for new rounds starting at 8:30 AM.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is thus likely that Epic Games may set the servers back up at 11:00 AM or as late as 1:00 PM. However, this is not confirmed.
