In Fortnite the servers will go down today, on November 21, across all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance is being used to load Update 27.11 onto the servers.

What is happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is taking the servers for Chapter 4 Season 5 offline to upload a new update. According to leakers, this update will bring new content from the OG universe and hold the data for the upcoming live event.

Fortnite: Server down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: The servers are expected to be shut down by Epic Games at 10:00 AM German time. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior, so you won’t be able to search for new matches after 9:30 AM.
When can you play again? This is a smaller update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could bring the servers back online at 11:00 AM or even 12:00 PM. However, this is not confirmed.
When will the patch notes be released? Epic Games usually publishes a short list of patch notes on their website after the update. If that happens, we will list them here in a short and clear manner.
