Today, on March 1, there will be a server maintenance in Fortnite. During this time, the game will be offline. How long is Fortnite down on PS4, Xbox One, and PC? What’s in the update 3.1.0? One thing is clear: The jetpack will not be included! Instead, a new weapon will come.
To prepare the servers for the new update, version 3.1.0, the Fortnite servers will be taken offline for an indefinite period.
- At 10:00 AM German time, the Fortnite servers will be down.
- Matchmaking for the Battle Royale mode will already be disabled half an hour earlier – at 09:30 AM.
- So far, it is unknown how long the servers will be offline.

Update: Around noon, the servers for Fortnite went back online. Hopefully, it stays that way; last week the servers had to be shut down again after half an hour for further maintenance.

Epic has identified design issues that need to be addressed. As an alternative, players can try the Hunting Rifle, which is already available in the PvE mode “Save the World.”

Patch 3.1.0 brings a new spot on the map – Lucky Landing
According to Epic, there will be a new lucky spot on the map, which rumor has it will be called Lucky Landing. What there is to discover in this new place is still unknown.
Based on the name, it can be assumed that this place should be approached right after the Battle Bus departs. Are we experiencing a second Tilted Towers? We will know more after the maintenance!
Once the servers are back up after maintenance, you can try the Hunting Rifle and visit the new spot on the map!
