In Fortnite, the servers will go down on Friday, March 10, on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). Maintenance will be used to load the update for Chapter 4 Season 2 onto the servers.
When can you play Fortnite again? Epic Games dates the server downtime for Chapter 4 Season 2 to Friday, March 10, at 08:00 AM German time. However, it is still unknown when they will come back online for you to play again. Leakers, however, believe that the servers could be offline for up to 5 hours.

Epic Games is now kicking every player out of the servers. The server downtime has begun.
It could be that the downtime will last only a few hours up to several days. It always depends on the size and issues that implementing the update brings.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: The servers are expected to be taken offline by Epic Games at 08:00 AM German time to install a hotfix. Matchmaking will already be disabled 30 minutes prior, so you will not be able to search for new rounds starting at 07:30 AM.
When can you play again? This is a relatively large update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could bring the servers back online at 1:00 PM or even at 3:00 PM. It could also be that the servers are taken down for several days. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
We will update this post as soon as a start time is known or we have new information.
When will the patch notes arrive? Epic Games usually publishes a short list of patch notes on their website after the update. If that happens, we will list them here quickly and clearly.
What content could be released with Chapter 4 Season 2?
Epic Games rarely reveals any new information about upcoming content before an update. However, trusted leakers like Shiina have been keeping an eye on the data hidden within and with their insider sources they can predict the following content:

However, there is no guarantee that all of this content, aside from the Battle Pass, will actually be included in the update. If there are problems, Epic Games may cut some of it and only release selected content. However, this has happened quite rarely in the past.
