Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale brings new features, including wild animals. You have several options: team up with them for tactical advantages or hunt them for resources.
Current happenings in Fortnite: Season 6 of Fortnite Chapter 2 has finally started. The new season “Primal” focuses on a very wild island. And with such a name, the environment of the Battle Royale had to be spiced up a bit. After sharks and fish, various land animals are now making their appearance. So you need to awaken the hunter within you!
What animals are there in Fortnite? Currently, four animals are available:
- the wolf,
- the wild boar,
- the chicken
- and the frog.
From the Battle Pass trailer, we already know that you can glide through the air with chickens, similar to Link in several works of the Zelda saga. The wolf can follow you once tamed, to assist you in battle.
What the new animals can do: If you are not afraid, you can also hunt them. If you kill them, you will receive some resources from these new animals, including bones, stinky sacks, or meat. They all have different effects, ranging from simple health regeneration to crafting various weapons.
Where to find the animals? It’s up to you to decide how to utilize them to make them a real advantage in the game. As for their location, these wild animals can be found all over the Battle Royale island, but of course, a frog will be found near a body of water, while the wild boar or wolf will prefer forests and wooded areas.
