The new trailer for Season 5 of Fortnite is online and gives you a first look at what’s happening in the new Season 5 of Chapter 2! Prevent the island from falling into complete chaos.
What’s going on in Fortnite? After players fought against Galactus in the live event, the servers were down for a few hours. Now, on the morning of December 2nd, there is another server downtime to deploy the season update. However, the first trailer for Season 5 is already here.
What does the trailer show? Epic Games released the story trailer on YouTube that shows what players can expect in Season 5. It seems like it will pick up right where the live event left off yesterday.

You see the main character of Fortnite, “Jonesy,” who is talking on the phone after waking up in the office. Chaos seems to be breaking out everywhere. After Galactus attempted to devour the Zero Point, it remained in the Fortnite world, although it should have been safely stored away.
The first time the Zero Point was seen was in Season 10, after the battle between the giants caused the energy orb to hover in the middle of the map.
The woman on the phone gives Jonesy a mission to stop the Zero Point again and save the island before it descends into complete chaos. Although Jonesy manages to “store” the Zero Point again, he is pulled in himself and ends up in another dimension – or is it the island we know?
It remains exciting what else is in store for us. Players will have to wait a bit longer until the servers are reachable again. If you want to take a look at the Battle Pass for Season 5, you should check out the first hints, as 3 skins have already been revealed.
Additionally, Fortnite has now released the Battle Pass trailer for Season 5. In it, you can see cool skins like Mando with Baby Yoda and also a pancake cowboy. Which of the new skins do you like the best and why?
