Season 3 in Chapter 3 is coming to an end soon. Therefore, we will show you what to expect in Season 4 of Fortnite, when it starts, and what information and leaks we know about the new season.
What is happening in Fortnite? On June 5th Season 3 in Chapter 3 of Fortnite began. After you defeated the IO forces with your giant mech in the live event of Season 2, a peaceful episode of Fortnite began where peace was celebrated. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, a new danger is approaching the island, slowly taking away and making everyone from the Seven disappear.

When does Season 3 in Chapter 3 end?
What is known: Fortnite always lets you know in advance when a new season is taking place. This time, September 17th has been dated as the end of Season 3. That would be a Saturday and could fit well as an end point. The previous episodes also ended on a Saturday and either transitioned through a live event or seamlessly after the server was down into the next phase.

When does Season 4 in Chapter 3 start?
So far: Typically, a new season starts immediately after the end of an old season. Therefore, we assume that Season 3 ends on September 17th and Season 4 of Chapter 3 will start on September 18th or 19th, 2022. That would be a Sunday or a Monday.
However, new seasons in Fortnite usually start on a Tuesday. However, the first, second, and third seasons in Chapter 3 started on a Saturday or Sunday. It is very possible that the next period will also take place over the weekend.
Expect that there will be downtime between the seasons during which the game will be unavailable. A multi-day downtime like the Black Hole is not expected, as no new chapter is starting, but “only” a new season within a chapter.
Season 4 Chapter 3 Battle Pass, Live Event, and Start
What is known so far: There is no official information yet about what content will be in the new season. However, data miners already have an idea. In the next lines, we will talk about leaks related to Season 3. If you want to be surprised, it is better to check one of the following articles:
What do we know about the new season? So far, not much is known. Leakers speculate that Season 4 will be full of callbacks. Epic Games has allegedly updated various old modes, weapons, and items as well as POIs. It is believed that you will soon have the chance to play many old items from Chapter 1 and 2 again.
The theory is supported that the new season release will start when the Battle Royale turns five years old. Roughly speaking, this is not entirely accurate as there is some time difference, but Epic Games always celebrates Fortnite’s birthday, and so far this celebration has not happened yet.
It is therefore almost unlikely that Epic Games will release the birthday event in the last three weeks before the new season.
Additionally, a new leak has emerged. This shows the hand of Paradigm, one of the famous Seven. Apparently, she is drowning in some undefined liquid and is trying to reach out with her hand.
Shiina, a well-known leaker in the Fortnite scene, managed to get this image from Nintendo itself. It was probably published too early on Nintendo’s Fortnite product page, as it can no longer be found.
A further leak indicates that fans are very likely not to see a Marvel season in Season 4. This is confirmed by many trustworthy leakers. However, it is known that Gwen, another Marvel superhero, will make it into the new Battle Pass, so be excited.
Shiina mentions further hints regarding the new Battle Pass of Season 4. A Goth-Meowscles version is likely to be featured in the new Pass.
