The live event “Collision” took place on Saturday, June 4, in Fortnite. We from MeinMMO were live at the event marking the end of Season 2 in Chapter 3. Here we report how the battle against the doomsday machine unfolded.
Here’s what it all built up to: In Fortnite, the Imagined Order caused many problems, turning the entire map into a battlefield. Despite this, players and the Seven were able to push back the IO troops; however, as a last resort, they aimed for the destruction of the current reality.
Did the players, with the help of the Seven and the newly built mech, prevent worse? We’ll show you!

This is how the live event “Collision” unfolded:
What happened during the live event marking the end of Season 2: First, the hatch where players stand in the lobby was opened, and they slid through into the head of the newly built mech.
Players got a glimpse of the moon base while the timer counted down to the start. To prepare, players could enter the gunner capsule located at the back of the mech’s head.

In the capsule, players could spend time shooting at asteroids with various weapons and listening to the Seven chat.
Now that players were briefed about the origin and the paradigm, the mech’s engines were started, and they flew through space towards reality and the current “Chapter 3” map.
Through a wild melee and plenty of IO soldiers, the mech fought its way from station to station with the help of players. However, the mech faced such heavy resistance that its shields broke, and Schali supported us in battle with his driving skills.
The funny banana brought the mech a barrel full of slurp shield, and players could advance further towards the world destroyer.
Just before the mech could charge its blade and deliver the final blow to the massive IO weapon, players fell into a chasm. Jonesy, who is now called the Legend, helped you out of the broken mech, and you had to walk on foot to the nearly collapsing Zero Point.
During the battle up to the Zero Point, glimpses of different realities could be seen, including the shape of a being that calls itself Geno. The Foundation and Jonesy jumped into the reality of the IO chief while players deactivated the world destroyer, thus saving reality.
Now players look at an animated image with mushrooms, accompanied by lobby music. Below is the designation “To be continued”.
